INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS AND TRADE(English-medium)

Description:Economics is the study of how consumers,firms and governments make decisions that together determine how resources are allocated. An appreciation of economics and the general workings of the economy have become increasingly necessary to understand government policy-making, the conduct of businesses, and the enormous changes in economic systems which are occurring throughout the world. It is also becoming increasingly important in both government and the private sector to have an understanding of some of the methods used within economics, such as quantitative methods, statistical and causal inference, and experimental methods.

This program aims to educate international students with a theoretical knowledge of economics and management, a good command of the theories and skills of international trade, strong computer application skills and bilingual communication.Meanwhile,Comprehensive Chinese coursesincludedhelp to build a solid foundation of Chinese proficiency,improve the students' language competence,which aims to enable students reach HSK level 4when they graduate.Graduates are demanded in fields of international business and economics, multinational enterprises, and governmental departments of economics.

Clinical Medicine(Chinese-medium)

Description:The five-year program ofClinicalMedicine aims to provide entry-level education for student who plans to be a general medical practitioner or specialist. The program is recognized by IMED, WHO and many foreign medical councils/associations.

This program aims at training international medical elites with solid foundation of medical knowledge, superb clinical skills and good professional qualities according to the Provisional Regulations stipulated by the Ministry of Education on quality control standards for the undergraduate medical education in China and the international standards for medical education.

To facilitate studying of medical courses, the first year is allocated to study Chinese language and some basic medical knowledge, then followed by 4 year study of medical courses in the university and university hospital. The final year is scheduled for internship training either in the university hospital or the accredited hospitals in students’ home countries. A diploma and bachelor degree will be awarded to students who have completed all required subjects and passed the examinations.

Modules:Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Physiology, Medical Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Diagnostics, Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Infectious Disease, Preventative Medicine, Emergency Medicine,Forensic Medicine, Otolaryngology.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1) High school graduate with good record or equivalent certificate. Those who have not graduated from high school, submit a Pre-graduation Certificate, or a testimonial which shows your expected graduation time and present your original high school certification, transcripts and their translations when you register;

(2) Language requirements for Chinese Medium Programs:

HSK Band 4 with 180 scores or above for Science or Engineering studies;

HSK Band 5 with 180 scores or above for Liberal Arts, Economics, Management Studies

(3) Language requirements for English Medium Programs (only for non-English speaking countries):

• TOEFL IBT 68 or above;

• IELTS 5.5 or above;

• Other equivalent English language qualifications.

(4) Applicants who seek exemption from submitting one of the above English Language competency certificates must show that they are

• a citizen or permanent resident of an English-speaking country; and/or have

• obtained their highest level of formal education from an institution where English is the medium of instruction and assessment and provide documented evidence of this when submitting their high school or college qualification certificate.

2)Certificates, diplomas and transcripts must be notarized copies. All of the documents should be translated into Chinese or English.

3)Two weeks after the semester starts, the application for changing majors will not be accepted.

4)If you have previously studied at any Chinese university, please upload the Visa page of your passport, prepare a transfer letter which includes your attendance record (should be above 80%) and transcripts.

5)Students from some countries need to submit the "Non-criminal Check" notarized by Chinese embassy and personal resume, and the specific requirements will be notified by mail.
