About Guangdong Pharmaceutical University
广东药科大学创办于1958年，是全国三所药科类大学之一，华南地区最早开办药学系列专业的高等学府。现有广州(大学城、宝岗、赤岗)、中山和云浮三大校区五个校园，占地近5300亩。学校现有全日制在校生2.9万人，拥有完整的本-硕-博培养体系，设有20个学院(部)、2个研究所(中心)、12所直属附属三级甲等医院。经67年砥奋进，已发展成为“以药为主，药医结合，药工融合，多学科协调发展”独具特色的全国知名高等学府。
Founded in 1958, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University is one of the three pharmaceutical universities in China and the earliest institution in South China to offer pharmaceutical programs. The university has three major campuses in Guangzhou, covering an area of nearly 873 acres. lt currently hosts around 29,000 full time students, forming a complete talent-cultivating system of bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral degrees. It comprises 20 schools(departments), 2 research institutes(centers), and 12 affiliated class A tertiary hospitals. Over the course of 67years of development, the university has become a distinctive institution in the field of pharmaceutical and medical education, characterized by a focus on pharmaceuticals, the integration of medicine and pharmacy, the fusion of pharmaceuticals and engineering, and coordinated interdisciplinary development.
现有教职工2078人，其中专任教师1818人，具有硕士学位以上人员占比90.9%(其中博士学位人员占比超45%)，具有高级专业技术职务人员占比42.1%，共有研究生导师1173人。其中全国优秀教师、国务院特殊津贴专家、岐黄工程首席科学家、国家优青、全国专业学位研究生教育指导委员会委员、教育部教学指导委员会委员、国家药典委员会委员、南粤百杰培养工程人才、珠江学者、省杰青、青年岐黄、广东省名中医、广东省“特支计划”系列人才等80余人，省级高层次研究团队16个。
There are over 2,078 teaching staff, including 1,818 full-time teachers, 90.9% of whom have master's degree or above (including more than 45% doctoral degree holders), 42% of whom have senior professional and technical positions, and 1,173 postgraduate supervisors. GDPU has over 80 talents including national outstanding teachers, recipients of special allowances from the State Council, leading scientists involved in the Qihuang(TCM) and other distinguished scholars, as well as 16 high-level research teams at provincial level.
现开设47个本科专业，专业覆盖医药全产业链，是全国药学类专业最齐全的高校之一，涵盖医、理、工、管、经、文、法。现有药学、临床医学、药物制剂、中药学、生物制药、临床药学等21个国家级、省级一流本科专业建设点，国家级一流本科专业建设点已覆盖我校化学药、生物药和中药“三大药”相关专业，一流本科专业建设点覆盖了学校药学类、医学类和工学类的核心专业。

Description:Economics is the study of how consumers, firms and governments make decisions that together determine how resources are allocated. An appreciation of economics and the general workings of the economy have become increasingly necessary to understand government policy-making, the conduct of businesses, and the enormous changes in economic systems which are occurring throughout the world. It is also becoming increasingly important in both government and the private sector to have an understanding of some of the methods used within economics, such as quantitative methods, statistical and causal inference, and experimental methods.
This program aims to educate international students with a theoretical knowledge of economics and management, a good command of the theories and skills of international trade, strong computer application skills and bilingual communication. Meanwhile, Comprehensive Chinese courses includedhelp to build a solid foundation of Chinese proficiency ,improve the students' language competence, which aims to enable students reach HSK level 4 when they graduate. 专业介绍：五年制临床医学专业为立志成为全科医师或专科医师的学生提供基础医学教育，本专业获国际医学教育名录（IMED）、世界卫生组织（WHO）及多国医学理事会/协会认证。
本专业依据中国教育部本科医学教育质量管控暂行规定与国际医学教育标准，培养具备扎实医学知识、精湛临床技能与良好职业素养的国际化医学精英人才。

Description:The five-year program of Clinical Medicine aims to provide entry-level education for student who plans to be a general medical practitioner or specialist. The program is recognized by IMED, WHO and many foreign medical councils/associations.
This program aims at training international medical elites with solid foundation of medical knowledge, superb clinical skills and good professional qualities according to the Provisional Regulations stipulated by the Ministry of Education on quality control standards for the undergraduate medical education in China and the international standards for medical education.
This program fully considers the healthcare needs of students' home countries and the international requirements for graduates returning home or serving in third countries. It is committed to cultivating international medical professionals with solid theoretical foundations in medicine, standardized clinical skills, good professional ethics, and preliminary clinical competence, enabling them to adapt to global medical development trends and the socio-economic needs of their home countries. The program spans five years, including one year of clinical internship (HSK Level 5 in Chinese language proficiency is required prior to internship). Students who complete the required credits, finish all compulsory courses, and pass all assessments will be granted graduation, awarded a graduation certificate, and conferred the Bachelor of Medicine degree.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1.高中毕业且高中平均绩点（GPA）≥3.0（满分为4.0）或同等水平（高中阶段必修课程须包含物理/数学、生物及化学）。英国普通教育高级证书（GCE A-Level）：所有科目成绩应在C或以上；尚未取得高中毕业证者，须提交预毕业证明（注明预计毕业时间），入学报到时出示高中毕业证、成绩单原件及翻译件。 High school graduate with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent qualifications; compulsory high school courses must include Physics/Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. For GCE A-Level (UK General Certificate of Education Advanced Level): All subjects must be graded C or above. Those who have not graduated from high school, submit a Pre-graduation Certificate, or a testimonial which shows your expected graduation time and present your original high school certification, transcripts and their translations when you register.

审核和录取Review and admission
学校审核申请者材料的完整性和真实性，必要时，我校会要求申请者提交补充材料。学校根据学生的成绩和其他方面表现，择优录取。
The school reviews the completeness and authenticity of applicants' materials. If necessary, our school will require applicants to submit supplementary materials. The school will admit students based on their academic performance and other aspects of their performance, selecting the best candidates.
预录取结果一般在申请后一个月内公布，申请者可在平台上查询录取结果，申请者须在限期内预缴第一学年的学费和住宿费确认；否则，视为放弃预录取资格。

《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）自2023年起全面电子化，将发送至申请者在申请系统上填写的邮箱地址。被录取申请者需及时在电脑端下载。
The "Application Form for Foreign Students to Study in China" (JW202 Form) has been fully electronic since 2023 and will be sent to the email address filled in by the applicant in the application system. Admitted applicants need to download it in a timely manner on the computer.
（三）学生收到《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）后，须持以上材料和《外国人体格检查表》的原件和复印件，以及本人的有效普通护照到中国大使馆（总领事馆）等驻外签证机关申请来华学习签证。
After receiving the "Admission Notice" and the "Application Form for Foreign Students to Study in China" (JW202 Form), students must apply for a study visa to China at Chinese embassies (consulates-general) and other overseas visa authorities with the original and copy of the above materials, the "Foreigners' Physical Examination Form", and their valid ordinary passport.
