五一劳动节放假通知The 2025 Labor Day schedule

各位老师和同学:

Dear all,

2025年五一劳动节放假安排如下:

The 2025 Labor Day schedule is as follows,

1. 2025年5月1日(星期四)至5月5日(星期一)放假调休,共五天。

The holiday is from May 1 (Thursday) to May 5 (Monday), 5 days in total.

2.原安排在5月5日(星期一)的课程调至4月27日(星期日)。

Courses originally scheduled on May 5 (Monday) are to be made up on April 27 (Sunday).

3. 原安排在4月27日(星期日)、5月1日(星期四)至5月4日(星期日)的课程取消。

Courses originally scheduled on April 27 (Sunday), May 1 (Thursday) to May 4 (Sunday) will be canceled.

All students should strictly abide by all the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of GDPU. Please pay particular attention to the following points:

Dormitory Safety

① Remember to lock windows and door, and turn off the power before leaving your dorm. Take care of your personal belongings in the dormitory.

② To prevent fire hazards, do not charge electric vehicle batteries in the dormitory.

③ Beware of high-powered appliances in the dormitory rooms, and please move to the communal kitchen for cooking.

Travel Safety

① Carry your passport with you at all time, and enhance awareness of traffic safety.

② It is recommended not to travel alone or with strangers, nor to play in overly crowded or undeveloped areas.

Pay special attention to water safety and mountain safety when playing.

③ Pay close attention to the precipitation and severe convective weather and other forecasts and warnings issued by the meteorological department and try not to go out in case of catastrophic weather.

④ Learn and master corresponding emergency evacuation knowledge, scientifically prevent and respond to catastrophic weather.

⑤ If you are going out for a long time, please inform friends or teachers of your itinerary and keep in touch.

Property Safety

① Beware of telecommunication and online fraud. Be vigilant when you receive strange calls, messages, or emails requesting bank card information, asking for verification codes,

initiating money transfers, sending friend requests, requesting link clicks or QR code scan, initiating video calls or screen sharing, and so on.

② Please note that China’s government offices, public security, and judicial authorities never request money transfers over the phone.

③ Take good care of your personal belongings and be cautious of loss and theft at all times.
